POMONOBO Productions presents the first annual pomonobo Halloween art show

Pomonobo Productions (the name under which many art forms fall including filmmaking, photography, performance art, writing among others) will present its First Annual Halloween Art Show at “The Duplex” on West Hill Avenue for October’s First Friday festivities.  Off the beaten path of the gallery walk, this show will stand apart from the typical gallery shows.  First Friday began its extension to the south side of downtown in October of 2006 when the neighboring Mary Boyce Temple house hosted its first art show.

The First Annual Pomonobo Halloween Art Show will present amigurumi, drawing, painting, photography and installation inspired by Halloween & Day of the Dead by area artists.  The unique space, the talented group of artists, and a well-executed theme will create an exhilarating show and will welcome in the Halloween season.

“This show is exclusively art inspired by Halloween and/or Day of the Dead. It is the first art show by Pomonobo Productions and is in a new, unusual space,” says creator Bran Rogers.  “Each artist is only similar in that they’re all a little creepy.”

Artists who will be presenting their work include Jenna Hancock, Josh Godin, Sarah Long, Katherine Metz, Chase Adams, Jenny Rich, Kari Hancock and Bran Rogers.
